Villa V2, S.G.L., Verona, Italy, 2004-in progress
The project for Villa V2, on two floors, is an evolution of Villa V1. The additional second floor is generated through a bifurcation of the roof-landscape similar to a silk cut. This technique of slicing and bending upwards one of the two resulting roof volumes, creates for a longitudinal terrace in the south. It wraps and creates an upper volume, as to form an inside division between the first floor lounge and the ground floor living room. The site around the house is landscaped into varying themes penetrating the inside.
