Villa iNTRUSA – project
S.G.L., Verona, Italy, 2003

The concept for Villa iNTRUSA is to engage experiences of the outside, which differs in relation with the interior sequence of spaces. The site is landscaped into varying strata and fields, which partially penetrate the inside. These intrusions foster spatial changes and articulate as skins that envelope bathrooms or service rooms and divide private from public areas. At the same time the residual space between the intrusions permits the varying themes of the garden to protrude into the house.
