Tim Burton – 9 Story Townhouse
New York City, USA, 1998

Pongratz Perbellini Architects for John Reimnitz Architect
The Landmarks building has been built in 1874 and it was the US residence of the Hungarian Embassy after 1947, until the movie director Tim Burton bought the property in 1997. The intervention restored the structure with minimal alterations to the existing outside shell of the main Landmarks façade. The building was converted into a 9-story Townhouse, located in Manhattan, NYC, with a total residential area of 13.000 sq.ft.
