Liquid Stone. The digital modulation of stone
Veronafiere, Verona, Italy, September-October 2005
The exhibition is based on the research of latest digital design and manufacturing technologies in stone by Pongratz Perbellini Architects. It showcased the innovative designs of the series Hyper-Wave, tactile 3D-stone surfaces for internal and external wall claddings, realized in collaboration with Testi Fratelli. On display during the 20th Abitare il Tempo, and the 40th Marmomacc, both exhibitions at the Veronafiere 2005, were four new designs of the series with different types of marble: Rosso Verona Marble, Carrara Marble, Moleanos, Pietra Serena. A video-clip visualized an animation of the virtual 3D design surface textures.
