XSpace-SGL – FLEXcity
Research at the University of Texas, Austin, USA, 2002

The design studio XSpace explored the potentials of the information paradigm for the re-generation of the city. Dynamic organizational structures on the urban and architectural scale were asked to contribute in developing a compact and resource-saving city. Private space, working space and public space should merge into innovative hybrids, XSpaces, and foster a flexible programmatic evolution and expansion.
