Campus dei Licei
International Competition, Schio, Vicenza, Italy, 2004

The project explores a surface concept of contiguous landscapes that extend over the Campus area, unifying the ground to the figures. The buildings lose their individual presence by the prevalence of various green densities, by the interference of infrastructures, sports and leisure activities. The movement through stratified planes of this “programmatic promenade” is accompanied by the real, and sometimes illusory, perception of the place’s depth, in a play of continuous visual fields, of line intersections, of tension in the directions.
